GripLoc's innovated, patented Interchangeable Thumb Assembly has changed the bowling industry to such a new level that it has challenged bowling supply companies to produce their own version…of the Interchangeable Thumb Assemblies. GripLoc's is still the easiest to Install. GripLoc's two-piece system consists of an Outer sleeve and an Inner sleeve. The Outer sleeve is made of a durable nylon that is permanently glued into the thumb hole of your bowling ball. The Inner sleeve is made of urethane and is available in solids or pre molded sizes. The unique feature of GripLoc's Interchangeable Thumb Assembly is the "locking" mechanism … once you "Load & Lock" the Inner sleeve into the Outer sleeve, you will hear a "clicking" sound which indicates that the Inner sleeve is secure in place. The GripLoc Interchangeable Thumb System comes in two sizes: standard and large. The standard size requires a 1-3/8" drilled hole to install the Outer sleeve, and the large size requires a 1-1/2" drilled hole. The standard size Inner sleeve comes in a wide range of pre-molded (round and oval) thumb sizes ranging from 3/4" to 1-1/32" or as a solid piece for those who prefer to drill the hole to their own specifications.
